for some unknown reason i have only a few photographs from this opening and even more strangely even less from the celebrations for emmett's birthday which i'm sure was around the same time.
unfortunately i don't have anything from the performance of 'the boy and the bird' at anthology film archives. if my memory serves me correctly i made a film of the performance but that will be in the emily harvey archives somewhere.
it was a wonderful evening....if that helps!

ay-o, happy as ever, enjoying the opening of his dear friend's show.

jeff perkins and emmett discuss the "story lines".

ay-o and john giorno catch up.

ay-o and peter frank sit down.
